Bradford Students Against Drunk Driving
Name: Regan Stanford
Birthday: July 8
Star sign: Cancer
Relationship status: Once bitten, twice shy
I’m new to Bradford, and while I’m loving life on the Main Line, I’m still a Cali girl through and through. I miss Malibu, and even the fruits and nuts back in LA. I’m a little less Stepford than your average Bradford chick, and my personal style runs more toward hippie chic than label whore. These days, I’m strictly a sober sister, but I still love to dance the night away and have fun. I wouldn’t say my body is a temple, per se, but I have been known to hit a sunrise yoga sesh here and there. Wanna join me?
Activities: Field hockey, the social scene, PETA (I’ve planned many a fundraiser alongside Alicia Silverstone and Pammy Anderson—it’s true; Hollywood cares!)
Interests: Yoga, Pilates, guided meditation, surfing, sunning, beach campfires, tabloids (as long as I’m not the one being profiled!), soy milk, shopping, and running outside when the weather cooperates.
Music: The Beatles, Bob Dylan, The Shins, MGMT, Bloc Party, Coldplay, and unknown indie bands I find on the Internet.
Books: The Perks of Being a Wallflower (Stephen Chbosky), Nine Stories (J.D. Salinger), Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist (Rachel Cohn & David Levithan), Speak (Laurie Halse Anderson), Weetzie Bat (Francesca Lia Block), Boy Meets Boy (David Levithan), Persepolis (Marjane Satrapi).
TV shows: I totally miss Veronica Mars and The O.C. (thank God for DVDs!), but I’ll settle for Pushing Daisies, Dirty Sexy Money, Entourage, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and my guilty pleasure, One Tree Hill. Also totally looking forward to Dollhouse this spring.
Movies: Heathers, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, The Royal Tenenbaums, Les Chansons d’Amour, Sweet Land, and Knocked Up.
Hot spots: Palm Springs, Venice, Paris, Buenos Aires, Rio, Phuket.

CANCER (June 21–July 22)
The Plus Side:
You’re kind and considerate, and your buds are everything to you! You are very patient, gentle, and compassionate to others, and are always the first to give a friend a hug when they have had a bad day. You truly care when friends tell you their problems. Go you, with your supportive, non-judgy, shiny-happy self!
The Flip Side:
You tend to be a little on the shy side! Speak up, sister! You get your feelings hurt often, and instead of getting to the heart of the matter and fixing it, you tend to let it build up inside. It’s okay to tell someone how you are feeling, and with your Cancer care, you will do it with kindness! Also, watch those mood swings! Seriously, no one likes a crabby gurl.
